After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I began carefully reading labels and discovered my go-to chicken bouillon wasn’t gluten-free—and was filled with hidden additives, fillers, and vague “natural flavors.” That discovery pushed me to create something better.
When developing our Chicken Ramen Seasoning and Onion Soup Mix, I also uncovered that the bouillon I had been using contained seed oils, corn, and soy—common allergens for many customers. That didn’t work, so I set out to make a cleaner alternative.
When I couldn’t find a truly allergy-friendly option, I created one. Our first version was already the cleanest on the market, but I wasn’t satisfied with the sodium level. After more than a year of collaboration with chefs and food scientists, we improved it even further.
Today, our Chicken Bouillon has the cleanest label in the industry and the lowest sodium—just 550mg per teaspoon, compared to 800–1100mg in many brands.
